DESCRIPTION OF THE BUILDINGS

The property is made up of the castle, winery, two staff members’ house, a warehouse, a barn and a cowshed.

The castle was built at the end of the 19th century and the works were concluded in 1906. This building stands out for its external walls of light blue granite and for its elegance. It is laid out on four levels, composed as follows.

- Basement floor: party room for 100 people, two storage rooms and two bathrooms.

- Ground floor: dining room, TV room, music room, two living rooms, library/office. Two big halls, two bathrooms, kitchen, storage room and laundry.

- First floor: eight bedrooms, office and two bathrooms.

- Second floor: five bedrooms, two storage rooms, two bathrooms.

Outside there is an outbuilding with a big typical kitchen, technical room, two bathrooms to support a big party and events lounge.

The state-of-the-art winery is perfectly equipped for winemaking, bottling and storage.

STATE AND FINISHES

The castle is in excellent condition and it features frescoed walls and ceilings, very large rooms, 19th-century furniture and two external statues.

In 2012 the castle was classified as monument of public interest. 

The castle has an outdoor pool and it is surrounded by a perfectly maintained garden with centuries-old trees (5,000 sqm).

The property includes 53 hectares of land, of which 13 hectares of vineyards.

USE AND POTENTIAL USES

Given its size and its features, in the property it is possible to arrange events, parties and ceremonies. The castle is currently the owner’s residence but it could be converted into a magnificent luxury hotel.

The wines of high quality produced in this estate have received numerous national and international awards over the years. Moreover, there is the possibility to increase the wine production.

The property has a lot of room to ride, therefore the barn and the cowshed could be converted into horse stables.
