STATE AND FINISHES

The country house presumably dates back to 1516 based on a Christogram found on an architrave recovered during the process of restoration. The building has been restored using exclusively recovered materials, roofs included, and modern insulation techniques have been applied to reduce energy waste and grants an optimal heating during winter (energy class A1). The ground floor’s paving is ventilated and all the windows (and French windows) are equipped with shatterproof glasses and mosquito nets. The building is equipped with volumetric and perimeter alarm system.

 

 

EXTERNAL AREA

The farmhouse is fitted with 1.5 hectares of fenced land accessed via an automatic wrought iron gate. Approximately 1,500 sqm of land are planted with garden while the steepest sections are covered in lavender, rosemary, cistus, gaura, roses, Perovskia and other decorative plants. The whole thing is served by a drip irrigation system on the slopes and static irrigators on the garden.

The garden is also embellished by three centuries-old olive trees and eight younger trees (planted in the 1980s and 1990s).

It is also possible to build a pool on the owned land.

The country house, located in a quiet but not too isolated location, is ideal for anyone looking for a private residence to escape from the chaos and monotony of the city.
