DESCRIPTION OF THE BUILDING


The farmhouse (approx. 720 sqm – 7,747 sqft) is laid out onto four floors organized as follows:

On the ground floor the house starts with an impressive lounge with fireplace, covered in vaulted ceilings supported by columns and pillars. From here one can enter an office, a kitchen, a dining room and two bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. STATE AND FINISHES


The farmhouse, built in the 13th century as a mill, was first attentively restored during the 17th and 18th century, as testified by the brick inserts on the outer walls. On the inside, the farmhouse is a real gem: the most recent renovation allowed preserving all the typical characteristics of the original building, such as exposed stone walls, wooden beams, wooden floors and the masterfully decorated vaulted ceilings of the entrance hall. However, the owners have decided to have a luxury house fitted with all the modern comforts available, thus enriching the house with prestigious marbles, travertine and cutting-edge appliances.


EXTERNAL AREA


The farmhouse sits in its own piece of land, spanning over 5.2 hectares. The section closest to the house in covered in garden and arable land (for a total of roughly 3.8 ha). A bit further there is a small section of coppice woodland (0.6 ha) and a small vineyard (approx. 8,000 sqm) which can be used to produce wine thanks to the cellar built in the farmhouse.

The garden hosts a beautiful pergola which can be used for al fresco dining during the beautiful days of summer. Not far from the farmhouse (90 m) is located the 13 x 6 m swimming pool.

Given the fact the house was once a mill, a stream flows not far from the building and was once used to move the wheel of the mill.
